A small home in Alameda of approximately  1,000 square feet, the scope of the remodel was to demolish an existing small Kitchen and combine it with an existing Dining Room.

A unique feature of the design was a retractable island which lent functionality during meal preparation. The island then   could be stowed away to allow views of the estuary through the French doors  while dining, and maintain an uncluttered and open space.
