The existing 1,500 square foot home sat complacently in an established San Jose neighborhood.  The scope of the project was to add 1,000 square feet, including a Master Bedroom Suite and a greatly expanded and open Living, Dining, Kitchen Area.

   The open plan features strong visual axis with clearly defined zones and functions, while creating a sense of intimacy.  There is an enclosed Zen Courtyard set as a fulcrum between the Master Bedroom Suite and the Expansive Living Dining Area.
